This park has a wonderful pioneering history, developed by a local Monash identity Grant Telfer in the 60's. The original adventure amusement style play equipment was a sight and an experience to behold. For some of the truly amazing memories of what the park used to be like there is a Facebook page dedicated to sharing the many images and stories of the original and unique equipment items that made this park a highlight for so many in the  70's and 80's.
Note: The parks has Paddlesteamer kiosk is currently closed (until further notice) but the local store is very nearby for snacks and drinks.

After recent funding  there have been a number of new items of equipment installed at the park. Including a flying fox, additional picnic shelter and a Liberty Swing.

A key to access the Liberty Swing is available from 'The Monash Club'.

One of the newest items in the park is a 'Liberty Swing' for children and adults in wheelchairs
