Riverland Special School - Clean Up Australia Day

As part of a term project, the Riverland Special School focused on litter and waste education.

The results of this project were captured in a short video.

It is great to see the enthusiasm and dedication by the school in assisting our environment through waste education. It was surprising to see the different types of litter that were collected, and in some cases, how they got their considering their proximity to location ie McDonalds/KFC. It shows that we are consumers, have a way to go with our own litter education.

The students also considered some recommendations on how to reduce litter - ie not printing receipts.

We all play a role in reducing litter and we thank the Riverland Special School on this project and sharing your outcome with us. Well done!

This week we’re collecting your Organic bin
