Asset Management Plans

It is a requirement under the Local Government Act that Council develop and adopt Infrastructure and Asset Management Plans covering a period of 10 years for its major asset categories.  These plans are directly linked to Council’s Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) whereby the LTFP reflects the optimal level of proposed asset maintenance, renewal and replacement necessary to achieve the desired service levels as well as minimising unnecessary asset costs to ratepayers.
