Fund My Project - Riverine Recovery

Fund My Project – Riverine Recovery has $200,00 available for projects of between $5,000 and $20,000 that build knowledge and understanding of riverine recovery and wetland management. Eligible projects may be small-scale works and activities and can include, but not limited to: • Revegetation projects • designing an app • interpretive signage • events.

Ski for Life

HEAL (Healthy Eating Activity & Lifestyle)

RDGP have been funded by the Country SA PHN to facilitate the HEAL program in the Riverland. HEAL is a lifestyle modification program that supports participants to develop lifelong healthy eating and physical activity behaviours. The program is specifically designed as a prevention program for people who are at risk of developing cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. It is also suitable for people seeking to manage their weight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and metabolic conditions.

‘Living Well Now” – Recruits Needed

Uni SA and COTA SA are looking to recruit people aged sixty and over to participate in their research project “Living Well Now: Investigating Environments that Enable People to Live Well and Thrive in their 60s and Beyond”. The aim of the project is to provide greater insight into the diverse ways that older people living in South Australia move through their home and community environments as part of their everyday lives.
